Java 7 event in Ostrava
Ostrava JUG organized an event related to the new version of Java. The event was prepared in the quite usual way, one hour presentation and three workshops running simultaneously.

Jan Lahoda from Oracle is the one who accepted our invitation. Jan, many thanks for coming and great performance. I would like to thank also to Oracle and Tieto for supporting that. Here is the material used during the presentation: goo.gl/7lYCs.

The one hour presentation by Jan Lahoda |
There were quite many new things mentioned during the presentation for most of us. So the idea of having three workshops to go more deeply through
Here are the pictures from the workshops.
project coin/language changes - Vladimir Pfeffer and Jan Lahoda
nio2 features - Tomas Turek and David Moncka
concurrency - performed by Peter Almasy and Tomas Kufa
was actually quite good and appreciated. Well, all the workshops were running at the same time, so one had to choose what workshop to participate. But don't be worried, we can repeat these workshops - so you won't miss that.
Here are the pictures from the workshops.
